Laura and Patti have been together for 18 years. This beautiful couple—and their four children, Anasteja, Cooper, Griffin, and Cecilia—were super excited to be celebrating the union together as a family in August at Pleasant Home Foundation in Oak Park, Illinois. Pleasant Home is considered one of the earliest distinguished examples of Prairie School Architecture in the nation, and is operated as a living museum.
Their laidback and casual wedding was elegant and carefree with close friends and family celebrating one of the biggest days of their lives. The lovely couple put the music together for their reception and the decorating was providing by Pleasant Home. The ceremony was an outdoors effort and after the ceremony, everyone feasted on scrumptious bites for dinner.
“This is a day I thought I’d never have. A dream I never allowed myself to dream. After 20 years with my partner and having 3 children together I finally had a wedding. My partner and I were able to recommit ourselves to one another in front of our children, family and friends. It’s the dream I never had come true,” smiles Laura.
Congratulations ladies, and congratulations to your beautiful family as well!
