Fahad and Saifra got married at Ashyana Banquets in Downers Grove, Illinois. They were both suggested as the perfect match by mutual friends, family and even people from the same religious community. However, after finally meeting in the Bay Area they both knew it was definitely fate like so many before them had relayed—and now they’re married!
This couple were all about enjoying the moment and counting their blessing with both families coming together as one. Saifra wore her mother’s wedding dress, her grandmother’s jewelry and Fahad wore a matching outfit and turban. Both were radiant! The details of the wedding were decorated with gold, soft pinks, ivory and beige They celebrated the occasion with the bride’s side of the family (Fahad’s family resides in California)—and they couldn’t have picked a better venue than Ashyana Banquets! Their stunning portraits were taken at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, Illinois, a 500-acre park that is 30 miles west of Chicago. It is the former estate of Joseph Medill and his grandson Colonel Robert R. McCormick, publishers of the Chicago Tribune. Check out their gorgeous wedding day (Shaadi).
“We’re not concerned about the material aspects of the wedding, but it’s important to our parents and we’re happy if they’re happy.”
